TerraTonka's Developer, Dr. Ronald Campbell, has lived on a portion of the land for over 30 years. During that time He developed a deep appreciation for the property, especially the trees and vegetation on the land, the wildlife that inhabit and traverse the property and the adjacent neighborhood.
TerraTonka is a unique development. It is designed for the homeowner who desires to live in a spacious, yet not overwhelmingly large, neighborhood with neighbors who share an abiding respect for our environment and natural resources.
Dr. Campbell envisions TerraTonka to be developed and built as an eco-friendly neighborhood of energy efficient homes using Minnesota GreenStar criteria as a guide for home construction. TerraTonka is designed to complement the adjacent neighborhood and to be populated by residents who share a common bond of respecting and preserving the existing terrain, trees and vegetation. The neighborhood will also reflect the City of Minnetonka"s Environmental Stewardship values, which dovetail nicely with Dr. Campbell's values.
